A mixture of experience and hard working youth makes up both halves of this year's lineup for the Huskies.
The strength of the lineup appears to be at the run from 160-195. The junior duo of Derrick Wiley and Andrew Conzo are coming off of double digit wins as sophomores, with Wiley hitting 21. Alex Pierce had a very strong season derailed by injury and finished 17-4 for the year. Another senior, Mike Cincis, showed promise in his first year as a starter and should be on the plus side of .500 this year.
Down low, Jaleel Gopaul quietly had a strong freshman season, winning 14 bouts and knocking off some tough competition along the way. Dan Grinberg and Matt Rohrman are 3-year starters that will look to provide some veteran leadership to an otherwise very young group.
The road to the Divisional title is probably blocked with Raritan and St. John Vianney lurking, but expect Matawan to be right behind them. They get both of those foes out of the way fairly early and as the season progresses, expect the wins to start coming in behind the strength of their returners and the development of the newcomers as the pick up more experience. Come postseason, there's a few guys here capable of making some waves. Pierce will be one to keep an eye as it will be interesting to see what he can do in the Districts after missing last year's tournament. Gopaul and Wiley will also bear watching as both proved last season they are capable of picking up big wins

A mixture of experience and hard working youth makes up both halves of this year's lineup for the Huskies.
The strength of the lineup appears to be at the run from 160-195. The junior duo of Derrick Wiley and Andrew Conzo are coming off of double digit wins as sophomores, with Wiley hitting 21. Alex Pierce had a very strong season derailed by injury and finished 17-4 for the year. Another senior, Mike Cincis, showed promise in his first year as a starter and should be on the plus side of .500 this year.
Down low, Jaleel Gopaul quietly had a strong freshman season, winning 14 bouts and knocking off some tough competition along the way. Dan Grinberg and Matt Rohrman are 3-year starters that will look to provide some veteran leadership to an otherwise very young group.
The road to the Divisional title is probably blocked with Raritan and St. John Vianney lurking, but expect Matawan to be right behind them. They get both of those foes out of the way fairly early and as the season progresses, expect the wins to start coming in behind the strength of their returners and the development of the newcomers as the pick up more experience. Come postseason, there's a few guys here capable of making some waves. Pierce will be one to keep an eye as it will be interesting to see what he can do in the Districts after missing last year's tournament. Gopaul and Wiley will also bear watching as both proved last season they are capable of picking up big wins
